•Sounds
•In
the interview scene we will use backing sound, this will be played as the clock
ticks to reflect time and to drive narrative, we will also use dialogue
throughout the piece, this will also help drive narrative.
•The
ticking of the clock will add suspense and tension, this conform
to
the conventions of a thriller as we will be using an everyday object and
turning it into something cynical this allows the audience
to
relate as are using the common
household
objects.
•We
will edit the
ticking of the clock in after filming therefore making it part of the
foreground resulting in it drawing the audiences attention
•We
will also use diegetic and non diegetic sounds
I like the idea of the clock ticking - what does it add to the scene? What does it make your audience feel? Will you be adding the sound in post-production to push it to the foreground?
