our film our main influence/ inspiration was the film se7en
Positives:
audience can contrast between the two and also gain a clear grasp into the ideaolies of
the two characters and also furthermore gain more understanding of the
narrative due to stereotypical portrayals of both characters also conforms to the typical conventions of a thriller. the main inspiration we took from se7en was the narrative as we are also using to detectives and are using binary composition, the two detectives portrays a clear drive in narrative making it easier to follow.
Negatives:
se7en doesn’t have a dominant female role, subverting to Propp’s
character theory
